Best Dishwasher

As in any industry, the dishwasher trade has its fair share of renowned brands which define the top of the market. Most people don’t think about the minor details or the functions of the device; instead they use the price and reputation of the brand name to make up for this lack of attention to the details.

It is hard to fault shoppers for this.  Dishwashers now boast an unfathomable amount of functions and finishes.  It is easy to see why people have the tendency to skip the jargon (and believe me, there is plenty of it) and take the plunge by purchasing a known and respected brand.

While this will often work out for the best, some buyers would rather make an informed decision than take a chance. Below is a brief summary of two of the best known brands on the market and what they offer.

Bosch

As far as dependable and energy efficient dishwashers go, you can’t go far wrong with Bosch. They were recently voted the quietest and most efficient on the market by a group of publications and surveys, and its adaptability is first class. Practically everything inside these dishwashers folds down, leaving you with a great deal of flexibility when it comes to loading your dishes. While Bosch boasts a lot of handy and unique functions and features, the prices normally do reflect this.

Whirlpool

Next we have Whirlpool, a brand that offers robust and relatively durable dishwashers at an affordable price. Don’t be fooled by the discount price tag however, as this brand can offer just as much as their nearest, often more pricier competitor. Whirlpool dishwashers boast a wide range of functions and flexibility, but due to the price the main pieces and buttons are compromised somewhat. “Gently does it” applies quite well when using a Whirlpool dishwasher. The noise factor can also be a problem for some people. At the end of the day though however it comes down to this; if you are looking for a practical dishwasher at a practical price, you can’t go far wrong with Whirlpool.

These two brands reflect two opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of price, but in terms of performance and functionality, there’s not a whole lot of difference. Like in any industry, price normally reflects craftsmanship, durability and style. The more you pay, the better the quality. But if you’re not really bothered about the aesthetic qualities and just want a dishwasher to perform the basic chore of washing the dishes, then the lower-priced brands will do you just as proud as the more affluently priced compatriots.
